NotesIf you are about to go on holiday there are a few things you can do to protect yourself. By paying for tickets using a Credit card you may get FREE travel insurance. If there are any problems it is often easier to get a refund. Additionally, if you use certain cards you can often get cash back. Take a look at our Credit card page as we have one or two cards on offer with cash back. ( sorry about the shameless plug ! ) If the Credit card doesn't give free cover then consider taking out some travel insurance from a company such as the ones detailed on this page. Make sure you get Cancellation insurance because you never know what the future holds. Often Travel companies try to push their own travel insurance. You will probably find that this is more expensive. You may be able to get a policy that covers you for the year instead of just 2 or 3 weeks. | |
