Welcome to South West England

The South West is a region rich in history and culture and well known for its connections with popular figures such as King Arthur, Agatha Christie and Jane Austen. Other attractions in South West England include the two national parks of Dartmoor and Exmoor as well as having four World Heritage sites that include Stonehenge and the Georgian town of Bath.

The South west of England has a magnificent coastline with many excellent seafood restaurants and surfing beaches. Many tourists also like to visit the many beautiful Cotswold villages in the area. The South West is famous for the cheese produced in the Somerset village of Cheddar and also for the popular Devon cream teas and cider. Recently the area has added tourist attractions such as the Eden Project, Aardman Animations, the Glastonbury festival and the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta.
