Thorpe Park The South East of England has a coastline that stretches from Chichester to Harwich with fashionable seaside resorts, Georgian spa towns, tranquil gardens and a few traditional resorts such as Bognor, Brighton, Eastbourne, Hastings, Southend and Clacton. The South East has a rich history, which has left it with pretty cathedral towns such as Winchester, Chichester and Canterbury. Leeds Castle near Maidstone is a picturesque 12th-century castle, surrounded by a moat and 500 acres of parkland. The counties of Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Surrey, East and West Sussex all surround Greater London making it very easy to visit London.
