Things to do in Hertfordshire

Hertfordshire is not really a holiday area as it is intensively built-up but a number of days out can be found hidden in the area. There are a few relics from roman times such as the Roman theatre of Verulamium and Welwyn Roman baths. There are a number of pockets where you can enjoy pleasant walks and country houses such as Hatfield house. Bedfordshire has a good range of sports facilities such as the Snow centre in Hemel Hempsted and the National Tennis Academy.
