The most elaborate are planted using global positioning equipment. Mazes are made of all types of materials and heights. A popular type of maze in America is the maize maze. Each year the corn maize is planted and the maze takes on a different layout. One man is responsible for many of these mazes - Adrian Fisher, the world's leading professional maze maker. Apparently, over 3 million people visit the 350 mazes he's designed and created in 20 countries. His maze design company has created more than 30 maize puzzles in the UK this year.
