Recent TV programs have helped revive an interest in all things ice:
Ice skating, speed skating, figure skating, ice dancing, shows on ice, Curling
and ice hockey. Ice rinks throughout the UK are experiencing a vast
surge in interest. Unfortunately, some areas do not have an ice rink
and many are difficult to find. Many temporary ice rinks have appeared but
many of these are actually wax not ice and are much more difficult to
skate on. Some rinks are seasonal and are only available in the winter
months. I have provided details of the main ice skating rinks below:
