The Dorset coast is beautiful with many outstanding views. The area is well known as Fossil country with many Dinosaur themed exhibitions such as in Dorchester. Dorset has some popular Sandy beaches at places such as Bournemouth and a natural shingle beach at Chesil beach. The area around Weymouth is particularly good for family attractions. Visitors to Poole will be impressed by the fantastic harbour.
